How to Access Out-of-Hours Care
If your pet needs urgent care outside of our normal opening hours, please contact one of the following Vets Now emergency locations:
- Vets Now Chesterfield (Primary OOH Provider)
- Vets Now Nottingham
- Vets Now Derby
These trusted providers are staffed with dedicated emergency vets and equipped to handle urgent cases at any time of night or weekend.
What to Expect
When you call, you’ll be guided on what to do next and, if necessary, referred directly to one of the above hospitals. Vets Now will provide immediate treatment, stabilise your pet, and share records with our team so we can continue care during normal hours if needed.
In Case of Emergency
If your pet is experiencing any of the following, seek urgent veterinary care without delay:
- Difficulty breathing
- Seizures or collapse
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Ingestion of toxic substances
- Trauma (e.g. hit by a car)
- Severe pain or distress

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
